The Gazebo (2003)
I decide to build single handedly a six sided Gazebo, having a fear of heights this proved to be quite a challenge. The only part of the project I had to farm out was the tiling of the roof, standing on such a steep roof was more than my vertigo would allow. Apparently six sided gazebos are quite rare. Most gazebos are eight sided. Loving a challenge and needing a centerpiece for the garden I decided to build one. First I built a paper model, then a wooden one and finally the real thing. Like most of my works I like to show a progression from the initial concept to the final product; so here is a pictorial progression.
