Collecting Marbles

Collecting marbles, the question is how many barbells is enough? Does one always want one more marble? Why I ponder another pointless question this beautiful spring afternoon is beyond me. she who sleeps, sleeps and I write. I have started envisioning my new mobile bird porch. I sit in my sunroom and look out the window where there will hopefully be a dance floor for my American beauties. The American gold finch is such a beauty. I want to see them land and dance for me as they feed. I “want this!” last night; Karen, Bruce and I discussed my new bird project. I came to the conclusion that in order to best attract my beauties food would be the bait. They would have to land where the food was, and I could control their path and their landing point. The question now is to make a Perfect food container, that’s a great runway, and landing site. A wire mesh cave full off Nyjer seeds should be simple to build, and Iron cage, would work well. Build two identical and attached them to the ends of a pole, this would begin a mobile. I could build the cages out of coat hangers. It’s time to go and build…
